Call Of Duty Black Ops 4: Zombies - Voyage Of Despair Starter Tips

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 introduces several new features to the series, like the battle royale Blackout mode. However, several Call of Duty mainstays make their return, including the popular Zombies multiplayer mode.If you're new to Zombies, the whole experience can feel rather overwhelming. The Call of Duty series has been stacking on new mechanics and features with each iteration of the mode, making Black Ops 4's Zombies much more complex than the original Nazi Zombies in 2008's World at War. In the video above, GameSpot producer Jean-Luc Seipke breaks down the layout of Voyage of Despair--one of the maps in Black Ops 4's Zombies--and provides some helpful tips for surviving the never-ending waves of the undead.Black Ops 4 continues Zombies tradition as a cooperative mode, where you work together with up to three players to survive waves of the undead.

Killing zombies nets you points, which can be used to purchase more powerful weapons and equipment. To survive, your team will have to work together to complete certain environmental challenges and overcome specific obstacles. For different levels of difficulty, you can customize over 100 different variables in Black Ops 4's Zombies, including the speed, health pool, and strength of the zombies. World War II's custom loadouts make a return, which offers more freedom for what weapons and equipment you start with.Black Ops 4 adds new aspects to Zombies as well.

A new game type, called Rush, offers a quicker, more streamlined version of the Zombies experience. Black Ops 4 also features two Zombie storylines, instead of just one. The first, called Aether, is a continuation of Zombies' story from the first three Black Ops games. The second, referred to as Chaos, features an original story that stars a brand new set of characters. Voyage of Despair is the first map from this second storyline. As Black Ops 4 has ditched a traditional single-player campaign and instead opted for a mostly online, multiplayer experience, we've had to wait and see how the game performs with active servers before committing to a full review. In our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 early review impressions, GameSpot reviews editor Kallie Plagge breaks down her initial thoughts on the game's standard multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout battle royale modes. For Zombies, Kallie wrote, "[Zombies is] a lot to take in at once, and I still need to really dive into each map. I'm most intrigued by Voyage of Despair, though--partially because of its Titanic setting, but also because its small spaces pose a greater challenge than IX's more open arenas."

During the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, however, it was revealed that next episode of The Final Season will arrive on January 15, 2019, with many of the core developers returning to finish out the conclusion to Telltale Games' seminal adventure game series. In the trailer for Episode 3: Broken Toys, we saw Clementine looking after another survivor during the zombie apocalypse, with a voiceover from the first season's protagonist Lee reflecting on her growth. Over the course of the four seasons, Clementine has grown from a vulnerable character that needed guidance, to one of the series' most hardened survivors. The trailer closed out with the twitter hashtag, #StillNotBitten, referencing a line said by Clementine during trailer. In the weeks after the closure of Telltale Ga...
