FOR HONOR: Nobushi Guide

The Nobushi is a Hybrid class hero in the Samurai faction with a Hard difficulty classification. Nobushis are zoner characters with incredible range that keep distance while constantly harassing targets, along with poking attacks and bleed damage that affects targets over time.

The Nobushi is a longe range melee fighter and tries to keep enemies far away with a long staff. It has the longest reach out of any other class in the game. Not only does this keep them safe from most attacks, but allows them to control the flow of combat.
Though difficult to master, playing as a Nobushi means completely zoning out enemies and bringing them down with pokes and counter-attacks.

Basic Tips

üThe Nobushi has three Attack Chains: the first, Poke the Nest, is performed by initiating three consecutive Light Attacks. The third attack causes a damage over time bleed.

üThe second Attack Chain is Hiss and Bite, which is performed by chaining a Light Attack into a Heavy Attack.

üFinally, Death Rattle Form, is performed by attacking consecutively with two Heavy Attacks. As with all attack chains, try and change guard directions to keep your opponent confused.

üWhen surrounded by enemies, perform a Zone Attack by pressing the Light Attack and Heavy Attack buttons simultaneously.

üWhile Sprinting, perform a Light Attack to initiate a Slither Thrust that inflicts a damage over time bleed effect.

üWhile Sprinting, performing a Heavy Attack initiates a Coiling Slash attack.

üWalk backward and perform a Light Attack to keep your distance while executing a bleed inflicting poke.

üPerform a Guardbreak immediately following a Light or Heavy Attack to initiate a kick that pushes your enemy back.

üWhen locked onto a target, Dodge left, right, or back combined with a Light Attack to perform a Cobra Strike that inflicts Bleed.

üWhen locked onto a target, perform a left or right Dodge combined with a Heavy Attack to perform a Sidewinder Form swipe.

üHold Down on Guard Direction to go into Hidden Stance, masking your guard orientation and evading incoming attacks.

üAfter blocking an attack, immediately perform a Dodge to keep your distance and maintain long range.
Advanced Tips

üMany of the Nobushi’s attacks inflict Bleed damage. After applying a Bleed effect on an enemy, hitting them again inflicts extra damage.

üPerform a Light Attack after knocking back an enemy to initiate a long*range poke that inflicts a Bleed. This is an excellent follow up to Guardbreaking an overly aggressive enemy.

üAny Attack performed out of the Hidden Stance automatically start on the second hit of an Attack Chain. Using the Poke the Nest attack is an almost guaranteed bleed effect due to its speed.

üSurprise your enemy with a Kick by performing a Guardbreak when evading an attack with Hidden Stance.

üRemember, the Nobushi cannot block while in Hidden Stance, but she can still Dodge out of it.

üYou can cancel the startup of a Light or Heavy Attack into Hidden Stance to confuse enemies and evade faster incoming attacks.

üYou may also cancel the recovery of your Attacks into Hidden Stance, to evade any potential follow up Attacks.

üOr, you may Cancel the Recovery of your Attacks into a Kick by performing a quick Guardbreak after the cancel.

üAlternatively, you can cancel the Recovery of your Attacks into a Viper’s Retreat poke, inflicting Bleed.

üYou can also Cancel the Recovery of a Kick into a Hidden Stance.

üOr Cancel the Recovery of a Kick into a Cobra Strike poke that inflicts a damage over time Bleed.

üYou can also Cancel the Recovery of a Cobra Strike or a Viper’s Retreat into a Hidden Stance, for extra safety.

üOr Cancel the Recovery of a Cobra’s Strike or Viper’s Retreat into a Dodge, for extra mobility.

üCancel an Attack Chain after the first strike to reset and avoid exposing yourself to a counter attack.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Nails the Magic and Weirdness of Morrowind

Poor Eoki just can't catch a break. I first saw the hapless Argonian huddling in a corner of a dirty island hut where we'd been stashed as newly captured slaves, and he followed me when I leapt into the surrounding waters in a daring escape alongside an assassin. And now, here in Sadrith Mora, hugging the eastern rim of the island of Vvardenfell, I find him in chains again. Four times he tried to escape after our escapade, and four times slavers drug him back. Now he's stuck toiling for Telvanni mages who bought him for a discount and don't give a damn for the Ebonheart Pact's ban on slavery. I offer to free him myself, but he says he's going to be all right. He knows someone, you see—a fellow Argonian slave named Sun-in-Shadow who happens to be pretty handy with magic herself. It's more than mere trust: he's smitten with her. And now Eoki's pleading with me to go help Sun-in-Shadow with whatever she needs to rise through the Telvanni ranks an...

Battlefield 5: Early Review Impressions

The Battlefield series has always been about capturing the scale of war, and Battlefield V delivers as expected. Large maps made of both open fields and narrow lanes pit players in chaotic fights to capture objectives and deplete the enemy respawn count. Different classes empower soldiers with specific capabilities that provide distinct advantages in the right situations. And of course, tanks and aircraft not only change gameplay dynamics, but can swing the tide of battle in deft hands. The initial impression is that Battlefield V revels in familiarity--this entry doesn't stray away from the franchise formula, but it's a fine execution thus far. It's been a while since the franchise set foot in World War II, but this time, it does so with lesser-known conflicts at the forefront. It's oddly refreshing to discover aspects of history that go overlooked. While we've had a steady diet of the snow-covered Narvik map prior to release, the game's collection of land...
