Call Of Duty Black Ops 4: Blackout Tips To Know Before Playing Second Part

Use Vehicles Wisely Blackout has a good mix of transportation options. There are helicopters, boats, ATVs, and heavy trucks. But be careful; driving these noisy vehicles can give away your location, especially as the map shrinks over the course of the match. Where To Find Yourself Some Helicopters Helicopters are incredibly useful if you need to get to a safety zone quickly. There several scattered across the map; you can find them are the Construction Site, Estates, Turbine, Factory, Firing Range, Nuketown Island, and Cargo Docks. Hellion Salvo Is Your Friend If players in vehicles are giving you trouble, then seek out the Hellion Salvo rocket launcher, which can lock onto them with ease. If you find yourself about to be on the receiving end of the Hellion Salvo, try to break line of sight as fast as possible or abandon ship. Support And Scavenge When playing in a squad, Blackout has plenty of options available for you to help out your team, such as sharing ...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4: Blackout Tips To Know Before Playing Firts Part

Blackout Basics Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a bit of a different beast from previous games in the series. The classic Call of Duty multiplayer modes return, but the game is far more focused on multiplayer than ever before, shedding the single-player campaign that previous entries have offered. Not only that, but there's a completely new mode called Blackout. Those familiar with battle royale games such as Fortnite and PUBG will feel right at home in this 100-player mode. If you spend most of your time with Call of Duty games, chances are that Blackout will be incredibly foreign to you. After all, it's a much slower-paced affair compared to the more frenetic speed of Call of Duty's standard multiplayer modes. If you want to come out on top in Blackout, you need to ditch many of the strategies and behaviors that once earned you victory in previous games. And even if you are a battle royale veteran, Black Ops 4 still has a wealth of its own unique mechanics and syste...

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4: How To Unlock Characters In Blackout, Zombies, And Multiplayer

You'll notice that there are a lot of characters to unlock in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout mode. With a total of 29 characters, the battle royale mode features a variety of characters from past Blacks Ops multiplayer, zombies, and story campaigns. If you're vying to get them all, you'll need to do a little legwork. To unlock most of these characters, you'll often need to complete a specific set of challenges associated to them. After finding a special item for the character on the map, you'll activate this special challenge, which often includes getting kills with a specific weapon, taking out zombies, or using specific support items. Below you can find a list of all the characters you can unlock. It's worth noting that not every character in the character select menu is unlockable yet; we assume they'll be made available at a later date. We'll be sure to update this feature as that information becomes available, as well as provide m...

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4: Zombies - Voyage Of Despair Starter Tips

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4   introduces   several new features   to the series, like the battle royale Blackout mode. However, several Call of Duty mainstays make their return, including the popular Zombies multiplayer mode. If you're new to Zombies, the whole experience can feel rather overwhelming. The Call of Duty series has been stacking on new mechanics and features with each iteration of the mode, making Black Ops 4's Zombies much more complex than the original Nazi Zombies in 2008's World at War. In the video above, GameSpot producer Jean-Luc Seipke breaks down the layout of Voyage of Despair--one of the maps in Black Ops 4's Zombies--and provides some helpful tips for surviving the never-ending waves of the undead. Black Ops 4 continues Zombies tradition as a cooperative mode, where you work together with up to three players to survive waves of the undead.  Killing zombies nets you points, which can be used to purchase more powerful weapon...

Fortnite: Where To Visit The Corrupted Areas (Location Guide Week 2 Challenges, Season 6)

Epic has kicked off Week 2 of Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 6. With an entirely new new Battle Pass, that means there's plenty of new cosmetics to unlock. One of the ways to do this is by completing the weekly challenges. To make that a quicker, easier task we've got a breakdown of everything you need to do, including a guide on visiting the Corrupted Areas. As with the previous season, challenges are split into two categories, with one set available to everyone and a second set exclusively for those that purchase a Battle Pass. Complete the mini-quests and you'll earn Battle Stars that level up your Battle Pass to unlock rewards. In the free section you'll need to use a Shadow Stone in three different matches; these items were a big addition for this season but were absent for most of the first week due to a bug. You'll also be asked to complete stage one of a multi-part challenge by dealing 200 points of damage with an Assault Rifle, and visit all of t...

Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Continue After Massive Telltale Layoffs

The Walking Dead  creator Robert Kirkman's company, Skybound Entertainment, has announced it has partnered with Telltale Games to finish the studio's Walking Dead: The Final Season. "We've successfully negotiated with Telltale Games for our company Skybound to come in and see Season 4 of the Telltale game to completion," Kirkman said during an  appearance at New York Comic-Con  this weekend. "We can't lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year." Skybound has been involved with Telltale's The Walking Dead franchise since the start. After Telltale announced it was winding down last month, many wondered about the fate of The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Telltale announced that it was working with multiple potential partners to finish the series, and it appears Skybound was among them. Skybound confirmed that it is working with members of the original team at Telltale, but it remains to be seen if this includes some or all of th...

Destiny 2: Forsaken's Last Wish Raid Won't Get A Hard Mode

Bungie has announced that Last Wish, the Raid included in the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2, will not be getting additional difficulties. Several past Destiny Raids got a Prestige mode after they launched, which made everything much harder. In a  blog post , Bungie wrote, "We wanted to create an experience that offered the truest forms of every encounter from day one, and offered some of the most powerful rewards in the game to anyone who could succeed." This coincides with Bungie's decision to transform the Iron Banner and make the mode more akin to "an arms race." It makes the mode more challenging from the get go, but it pushes low Power level characters to grow stronger. That's not to say that Raid updates for Forsaken are done. In the same blog post, Bungie further teased a new Raid lair for Black Armory, which is scheduled for this December. If you happen to have an Annual Pass for Destiny 2, you'll be hearing more information about the...

Fortnite: New Skins Leaked Ahead Of Halloween Event

Fortnite is getting spooky through the newly launched Season 6 with its Darkness Rises theme, but it looks like it will be adding some special Halloween-themed cosmetics as well. A new set of skins, back bling, gliders, and pickaxes have been leaked, giving a look at what's presumably to come at some point during October. From the Twitter account  FNBRLeaks  come our first looks at the skins Hay Man (Male) and Straw Ops (Female); Hay Nest and Birdhovel back bling; Dark Glyph and Field Wraith gliders; and Thunder Crash and Harvester pickaxes. Plus, it provides a look at the new T-Pose, which goes especially well with the Hay Man skin. You can see them all in the tweets below. So far Epic hasn't announced any special Halloween events, so we're not sure yet just how you'll earn these new cosmetic items--they could be sold like any others or tied to specific challenges, like the birthday event items released this summer. Whatever the case, these join a whole host of...
